**About The Artist**

Nandini Raikar, student of commerce, settled in Goa, being wooed into the world of art, through her passion for colours, canvas, brush and ideas and ideologies, slowly started to be identified as an artist by the fellow artists who encouraged her work.

Having no proper guidance, neither support to go through education in fine arts, Nandini experimented her passion for art as a hobby. The Grace of God visited her life through the same hobby through a contest where she was awarded with excellence for National level for Fevicryl Award for Creative excellence. Thus began her indulgence in the world of art which was the turning point in her life.

She very explicitly says, “If not the Mentors and other works of Great Artists, I would not have been inspired to be what I am today”.

Nandini, inspired by Nature believes that her Ideas are the Colours, Her Pencils and Brushes are tools of expressions, and Canvas is the Image of the Vision and Dreams Captured in mind. And the Inspiration is the same for the Spiritual and Physical satisfaction that we receive from the completion of the exhibit of the work of Art.

She says,” There are moments, that drives us through, whether our hard work, receives reward of labour, but only another artist, would know the fullness of joy what an artist would receive when it is recognised by a fellow artist.”

Nandini observes about herself and claims, “My Skills on Creativity, Expressions of my inner emotions, My thoughts about the Well being of the Society, Humanitarian Flaws and Failures, Social Ethics and Morales of the society are getting sharpened, as I go on placing these observation on canvas.

“Now that I’m blessed with this knowledge and talent, I feel privileged and honoured to be in this field.
